TGW Law is an English law firm, authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The firm was established in December 1999 by Alastair Tulloch. The primary focus of the firm’s work is:
TGW Law’s client base is drawn primarily from companies in the internet and media sectors, investment funds, international retailers, and family offices. The firm’s philosophy is to provide added value to any transaction or administrative matter, and an unparalleled service in terms of response times, availability and professionalism. The firm only takes on clients where it sees that a real contribution can be made by the firm. The partners are: Alastair Tulloch Alastair Tulloch was educated in South Africa before studying at Magdalen College, Oxford. After qualifying as a solicitor in 1980, he worked as an assistant solicitor for Lovell White & King before spending 2½ years working for a Dubai (UAE) law firm. On returning to London in 1984, he worked as an assistant solicitor for Clifford Turner before joining Frere Cholmeley Bischoff in 1987. As a partner of Frere Cholmeley Bischoff he was instrumental in the development of its Eastern European practice. On the dissolution of Frere Cholmeley Bischoff in 1998 he joined Eversheds for a short period before realising his lifelong aim of establishing his own law firm. Alastair is married with four children and his interests include sailing, skiing, travel and woodwork. Bruce Gripton Bruce Gripton is a long-standing colleague and friend of Alastair Tulloch’s. Bruce was born in Somerset, England and educated in Birmingham. He was briefly a presenter on Radio Birmingham before studying at Exeter College, Oxford (where he was President of the University Law Society). After qualifying as a solicitor in 1984, Bruce worked for Frere Cholmeley Bischoff and became a partner in 1990. He joined Eversheds in 1998 and remained there as a partner for 10 years before reuniting with Alastair and joining the firm in 2009. He specialises primarily in corporate transactions. Bruce is married with three children and his interests include golf and following Liverpool Football Club. Anthony Warner Anthony was raised in Germany and France before studying International Relations at St Andrews in Scotland. After moving to London to complete his legal studies, Anthony trained at Field Fisher Waterhouse, after which he worked as a senior associate at Taylor Wessing and Baker McKenzie. Anthony has spent time seconded to clients at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Citi Private Bank and Tyrus Capital. In late 2021 Anthony re-joined the firm (where he had worked as a paralegal during his legal studies 15 years before), becoming a partner in 2023. Anthony is married with two children and enjoys photography, épée fencing, competing in triathlons and travel (ideally off-road).
